How to Check Your EPF Balance

Nak tau berapa baki KWSP you? Senang je. Got 3 ways to check — online, phone app, or at the KWSP office.

Way 1: i-Akaun Website (Computer)

1. Go to member.kwsp.gov.my
2. Login with your username and password
3. Click “Penyata” (Statement)
4. Select “Penyata Ahli”
5. Your baki will show:
   • Account 1 (Retirement) — 75% of your caruman goes here
   • Account 2 (Sejahtera) — 15%
   • Account 3 (Flexible) — 10%

Way 2: Download the App

This one paling senang:

1. Download KWSP i-Akaun app (iOS or Android)
2. Login or register
3. Baki terus nampak on the main screen
4. Tap to see full breakdown and transaction history

Way 3: KWSP Kiosk

• Available at any KWSP office
• Just scan MyKad and fingerprint
• Can print statement on the spot

Don’t Have i-Akaun Yet?

If first time, need to register first:

1. Go to i-akaun.kwsp.gov.my
2. Click “Pengaktifan i-Akaun”
3. Key in IC number
4. Answer verification questions
5. Create your login
6. Verify with TAC sent to your phone

When Does Balance Update?

• Caruman: Usually before 15th of next month (depends on your boss la)
• Dividend: Once a year — usually credited in March
• Withdrawals: Deducted immediately after approval

Tips Bro

• Turn on push notifications — so you know when employer bayar caruman
• Check every month to make sure boss really paying (some bosses potong gaji but don’t pay in, kena report)
• Download annual statement for e-Filing — LHDN needs it for tax
• If caruman missing, first ask HR, then complain to KWSP direct
