How to Check Your EPF Balance Online

There are several ways to check your KWSP/EPF balance in 2026. The most convenient method is through the i-Akaun online portal or mobile app.

Method 1: i-Akaun Web Portal (Desktop)

  1. Visit member.kwsp.gov.my
  2. Log in with your User ID and Password
  3. Click “Statement” in the main menu
  4. Select “Member Statement”
  5. Your balance will be displayed by account:
    • Account 1 (Retirement Account) — 75% of contributions
    • Account 2 (Well-being Account) — 15% of contributions
    • Account 3 (Flexible Account) — 10% of contributions

Method 2: i-Akaun Mobile App

  1. Download the KWSP i-Akaun app (available on iOS and Android)
  2. Log in or register a new account
  3. Your balance is displayed on the home screen
  4. Tap to view detailed breakdown and transaction history

Method 3: KWSP Self-Service Kiosk

  • Available at KWSP offices nationwide
  • Use your MyKad and fingerprint for quick access
  • Print your statement directly from the kiosk

How to Register for i-Akaun

If you don’t have an i-Akaun yet:

  1. Go to i-akaun.kwsp.gov.my
  2. Click “i-Akaun Activation (Member)”
  3. Enter your MyKad number
  4. Answer the verification questions
  5. Create your User ID and Password
  6. Activate via TAC sent to your registered phone number

When Does the EPF Balance Update?
