Zakat fitrah tu basically wajib payment every Muslim kena bayar during Ramadan before Hari Raya. It’s to cleanse your puasa and help orang miskin celebrate Raya together. Every year must pay, no escape.

• Every Muslim (male and female)
• Alive at the end of Ramadan

Calculate Your Family Total

Family of 4 in KL, standard rate:

• 4 × RM7 = RM28

Same family, premium rate:

• 4 × RM14 = RM56

Family of 6 in Johor:

• 6 × RM7.60 = RM45.60

Tips

• Pay online early — don’t queue at masjid last day, panas bro
• Keep receipt for income tax relief (zakat can be claimed)
• If you’re in different state than your IC state, pay based on where you’re LIVING now
• Can also bayar through amil at the mosque if you prefer face-to-face
• Remember to count ALL dependents including newborn babies
