What is MySTR?

MySTR is basically the government portal to apply for STR (Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah) — that’s the cash bantuan from LHDN for B40 and M40 families. You use this portal to register, update your info, and check whether your application approved or not.

How to Register — Step by Step

Step 1: Go to the Website

Open browser, go to mystr.hasil.gov.my. Make sure it’s the legit LHDN site ya, don’t click random links from WhatsApp.

Step 2: Click “Daftar Baru”

You’ll see the button on the main page. If first time, click that one. If already got account, just login.

Step 3: Key In Your IC Number

Put your 12-digit MyKad number
Create password — make it strong but something you can remember la
Enter phone number for TAC (make sure the number is active)

Step 4: Fill In Personal Details

Full name (same as IC)
Current address
Married or single
How many dependents you got

Step 5: Income Info

How much your household earns per month
Where the income come from (gaji, bisnes, etc.)
If married, include spouse income also

Step 6: Bank Details

Your bank name
Account number — must be active tau
Name on account must be same as applicant

Step 7: Check Everything & Submit

Go through all the info one more time
Click submit
IMPORTANT: Save the reference number! Screenshot it or write it down

After You Submit

Takes around 2-4 weeks to process
Login balik to check status
If “Lulus” — congrats, money will follow the payment schedule
If “Tidak Lulus” — can try appeal through the portal

21 years old and above (19 if OKU)
Household income not more than RM5,000/month
Got active bank account

Don’t simply put wrong income — LHDN will cross-check with your employer data
Make sure phone number active for TAC
Keep payslip or income proof just in case need to appeal
Apply early, don’t wait last minute when the portal sure jam one
If you pindah rumah, remember to update address
